JASON GODWIN - MANAGING PARTNER
Jason has a diversified background in tech & telecoms ranging from the elevator industry where he joined his family's firms in the UK, all
renowned for their global role as technology innovators, firstly with International Lift Management & Construction (I.L.M.C.)
and then Lerch Bates & Associates in which the family still holds a significant interest today. Jason also worked
in Australia for many years with Lend Lease (sic Bovis Lend Lease) as a Senior Project Engineer and Boral Corporation's,
elevator division, subsequently sold to Otis Building Technologies, where he held the position of State Sales Manager (NSW).
Since 1995 Jason has worked exclusively in challenging telecom roles, firstly by starting one of the Czech Republic's first ISP's Terminal.CZ, which was later sold to TeleNor (Nextra) which he joined, managing their retail base and developing new VOIP services. At Nextra Jason also developed and divested a successful calling card business before becoming Commercial Director at Rann Globalnet, a wireless local loop (WLL) operator, and then Director of Residential Services for Teledanmark's Central European subsidiary, Contactel. That career with operators was balanced by an 18-month term as Regional Director (Middle East) at telecom solutions vendor Sitronics (A listed Sistema Group Company) where he established their Dubai office and MENA regional presence. Through 2007/2008 Jason was retained by the Vodafone Group in Europe at a Central European OpCo as Director, Corporate Sales for the successful launch and development of their VF-FMC product "OneNet" aimed at SME & Corporate clients. From the start of 2009 until his departure in July 2010 Jason served as Head of Consumer Products & Services at Nawras, the second fixed and mobile operator in Oman.
